The Singularity of Life

......Nunca es mañana...

Después de muchas investigaciones, todo parece indicar que la vida es una SINGULARIDAD, ya que si no lo es en espacio, lo es por lo menos, en el tiempo. Es decir, no parece raro que en tal inmensidad pueda darse la vida, una y otra vez, Sin embargo, el universo es tan basto en tiempo, como en espacio, que las probabilidad de que las formas de vida coincidan en el mismo tiempo, en dos o más lugares del Universo, es remota. Y existe también, la probabilidad de que la vida inteligente solo haya aparecido una sola vez y en un solo lugar… henos aquí y nada mas. Esto hace de la vida una verdadera SINGULARIDAD, misma cosa que sirve para que también pueda interpretarse como milagro, aunque sea, milagro de la naturaleza. Pero más allá de esto. ¿Cómo llamarle al particular suceso de la aparición de la vida dentro de la paulatina evolución de los acontecimientos en el Universo? ¿Qué es realmente más asombroso? ¿La aparición de vida, o la aparición de la inteligencia?...[...]


Dentro de esta secuencia paulatina evolutiva, hay momentos donde ocurren cosas verdaderamente asombrosas, y me temo, que aún inexplicables, como el momento en que una partícula comienza a transformar materia en energía, para luego moverse y luego replicarse… O el momento en que esta forma de vida evoluciona hasta la inteligencia… O el momento inimaginable que está justo antes de la gran explosión que conocemos como Big Bang mismo que comienza con lo que los científicos llaman singularidad. Según la teoría del Big Bang, el Universo se originó en una singularidad espaciotemporal de densidad infinita y físicamente paradójica.

Son momentos que cualquiera pudiera denominar “milagro” pero nosotros los científicos nos gusta más dejarlo en…..singularidad

Never is Tomorrow

After many investigations, everything seems to indicate that Life is a SINGULARITY, since if is not in Space, it is at least, in Time. I mean, it does not seem exceptional that in such immensity life can occur, once and once again, but the universe is so big in time as in space, that the probability that life forms synchronize in time, in two or more places of the Universe, is remote.
And also exists the probability that intelligent life has appeared a single time in a single time and in a single place… here and nowhere else and never before or again. This makes of Life a true SINGULARITY, same thing that serves so that also it can be interpreted like a miracle, although as, a miracle of nature. But beyond this…

How to call to the particular event of life appearance in the gradual evolution of events in the Universe?

What is really more amazing? The appearance of life, or the appearance of intelligence?

Within this evolutionary gradual sequence, there are moments where many amazing things happen, and I am afraid, that still some unexplained, like the moment into which a particle begins to transform matter in energy, then to move and soon to replicate… Or the moment at which this form of life evolves until intelligence… Or the unimaginable moment that is right before the great explosion which we know as Big Bang, the same that begins with which the scientists call a singularity.

According to the theory of the Big Bang, the Universe was originated in a space-time singularity of infinite density and paradoxical physics.
These are moments that anyone could denominate “miracles” but we scientists, like more to call them as..... singularities
